Farm @ The Dot Cafe
Our first farm!
Our partner, The Dot Cafe has given us access to an portion of their out-lot to allow us to grow this fall. We are looking at growing flowers for a you-pick and a fall veggie garden.
Already we have faced some of the common issues with urban growing. You will see that we ended up having to grow our flowers in ground this year. That is due to the fact we were unable to source enough compost to use our grow bag system.
We're on tract now and hope to be able to provide beautiful flowers and test out our production of cool season veggies using upcycled burlap bags from another partner Morning Bell Cafe!
Location
Our FIRST FARM is located in an out-lot of the Dot Cafe in West Ames. Stop by and get a delicious drink & meal with your bouquet!
